Fire and Blood is the final quest in the Targaryen questline. All of these quests are given to you by Illyrio Mopatis and upon completing the final quest, House Targaryen will invade The Stormlands.
This quest has a lot of traveling involved. So stock up on food.
Quest guide[]
- Go to Pentos Castle and speak with Illyrio Mopatis. He will ask you to bring a message to his friend.
- Visit the tavern in 'Kings Landing' and talk to Rugen (If you are in 2.0 he will be in the Black Cells). You will receive 500 coins.
- Return to Pentos Castle and speak with Illyrio Mopatis. He will ask you to deliver a chest of valuables to his ally.
- Visit the tavern in 'Norvos' and talk to Ser Rolly Duckfield. He will ask you to take the chest back to Illyrio Mopatis.
- Leave Norvos, and go back to the Pentos Castle. Speak to Illyrio Mopatis. He will ask you to deliver a message.
- Return to Rugen in the Black Cells of the Red Keep in Kings Landing
- Talk to Rennifer Longwaters in the Black Cells
- Go to the tavern in Kings Landing, and talk to Rugen. You will receive 500 coins
- Travel to the Thirsty Goat in Sunspear (In the region of Dorne)
- Talk to Septon Allard. He will ask you to show the letter to Maester Caleotte in the Castle.
- Show the letter to Maester Caleotte. You will receive 3500 coins.
- Wait a while. Dorne will declare war on The Stormlands, Dragonstone, The Westerlands, and The Reach. Eventually, House Targaryen will declare war on The Stormlands, Dragonstone, The Westerlands, and The Reach.
